LTI External App

The Kyte Learning LTI external app allows you to find and embed lessons, sections, or entire courses from the Kyte Learning technology training library without leaving your LMS.

This app should work with any LMS that supports the LTI standard

Consumer Key & Shared Secret

Required to complete installation of the LTI external app on any LMS

Go to the  Integrations tab from your  organization settings page

Find the LMS you would like to integrate with and click Setup or View

Copy and paste your consumer key and shared secret into your LMS LTI configuration

Embedding Content

After adding the external tool to your LMS, you'll be able to add it into your courses. This is how it will look when you view the external tool for the first time as an LMS admin or teacher of the course.

Use the provided search or filters to find available courses. You can view more information about any course by clicking the View button on a course card. 

From the course overview page, you can to embed the entire course by clicking the Embed Course button. If you'd like to embed a single section or lesson from the course, simply move your cursor over the desired section or lesson and an Embed button will appear.

To change the content that is embedded after it has been selected, click the Edit button. This is how an embedded course appears to course teachers/admins. The "Successfully Embedded" banner will not show up for students viewing the embedded content.
